Fully Cooked
Storage: Keep frozen.
This is a fully cooked product.
For safety, heat to an internal temperature of 74°C (165°F) as measured by a meat thermometer.
Avoid refreezing thawed or heated product. Once thawed, and if you intend to consume product within 3 days, it can be stored in refrigerator.
Procedure:
Appliances and utensils vary; adjust cooking times accordingly.
To defrost OR to use cold:
Defrost Pastrami Strips inside refrigerator until thawed. For quick defrosting, use microwave oven on defrost mode only. Defrost until thawed.
To use hot: Defrost Pastrami Strips as given above, prior to heating. Preheat a non-stick pan, or a lightly oiled pan (if you prefer). Fry thawed Pastrami Strips over low heat, turning frequently though heating. For crispy Pastrami strips, heat longer.
